Salvation Army Seeks Help with Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army on the Sunshine Coast is appealing for help with its 2019 Kettle Campaign.

Darrell Pilgrim is the new director of the Salvation Army in Gibsons and he says they face a challenge raising enough to help people in need as Christmas approaches.

Pilgrim says they are striving to gather donations while awaiting completion of repairs to the Salvation Army ministry and food bank in Gibsons.

The building was damaged by a fire in late October.

Pilgrim asking people to consider ways to raise funds, or make donations. He is also appealing to businesses and groups to join them in fundraising or match kettle donations.
