There has been a development in the case of a missing man, Jesse Farrand.
While staying at an Airbnb in Black Point near Powell River, guests noticed a blue kayak on the beach in front of that Airbnb and Sunshine Coast RCMP are confident it’s a kayak belonging to Farrand.
Farrand still hasn’t been found and the found kayak was missing a paddle.
Sunshine Coast Search and Rescue, a police helicopter and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association are looking for Farrand.
If anyone, including those on the water, have any information or saw the blue kayak or Farrand himself, they are asked to call the Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266.
