Sunshine Coast RCMP has had a lot of inquiries regarding a heavy police presence on Gambier Island.
There were a number of noise complaints from boaters in Halkett Bay off of Gambier Island and another complaint came regarding a male passenger on one of the party boats swimming to shore and then got lost on Gambier Island.
Sunshine Coast RCMP members and the West Coast Marine Unit attended and the man was located the following day and returned to Gibsons.
