The District of Sechelt didn’t have to look far to find its new Director of Finance.
Sechelt has hired David Douglas in that role and he comes from the same role in Gibsons.
Douglas has 18 years of public sector experience, including a decade as the Director of Financial Services for the City of Powell River and as Manager of Finance with the District of Ucluelet.
He starts in his new role on August 6.
