The Sechelt First Nation is hosting a cultural crawl beginning Friday.
Friday is National Indigenous Peoples Day.
The Sechelt Nation have turned it into a three-day weekend festival and invited everyone to participate in the activities which include tours, a sweat lodge, and a moonlight paddle among other things.
Tony Paul, a Sechelt carver will work on a “reconciliation pole” beside the Raven’s Cry Theatre in Sechelt.
In recent years celebrations have been limited to band members only.
