Coast Car Co-op launches membership drive

The Coast Car Co-op managed to raise almost 23,000 dollars during a recent fundraising campaign.

The former treasurer of the organization, Mark Cameron matched the contributions with a dollar 50 for every dollar raised.

Cameron said he’s always been a big supporter of the Co-op that provides an important service to the community.

He said the Co-op has a pick-up truck that needs to be replaced.

Cameron said the truck is the most used vehicle in the fleet in terms of the number of bookings but it has 300,000 kilometres on it.
