SECHELT, B.C. – If you are interested in water, and water management, a series of public dialogues next week in Sechelt and Gibsons is for you.

The dialogues come after the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) announced that Stage 2 water conservation restrictions will come into effect, starting June 7.

Hosted by the district, the events will focus on SCRD water supply projects, drought management, water conservation, climate change, and more.

Dialogues will take place on the following days:

  • June 3 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
    Sechelt Legion, 5591 Wharf Ave, Sechelt.
  • June 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
    Sechelt Legion, 5591 Wharf Ave, Sechelt.
  • June 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
    Gibsons Legion, 747 Gibsons Way, Gibsons.

During the dialogues, visitors are invited to give the SCRD board their input on what actions should be taken next.
