The Sunshine Coast Arts Council has launched a new series of banners along Dolphin Street., between Inlet and Trail.
The banners represent the work of nine different Sunshine Coast Artists.
Ian Macleod was the curator for the project and says choosing artists can be a difficult job.
“Sometimes, but it all seems to work out in the end. I am really pleased with the banners that are up now, and the previous year. They are excellent.
Each banner is double sided with the work of two different artists.

Along with the banners on Dolphin Street, Macleod says he also looks after the children’s banners that are displayed around city hall and the library.
He says it’s always fun to watch the kids reproduce their art on the banners.
