The City of Nanaimo has completed a draft version of its new Strategic Plan.
They are looking for input from the community.
The plan provides a guide for the next four years and beyond and is used to identify strategic priorities, help determine future projects, inform decision-making and place the focus on the needs and interests of the community.
Council identified four strategic themes for the plan, governance excellence, environmental responsibility, economic health, and livability.
Mayor Leonard Krog says the plan represents the values and priorities that are important for council and receiving feedback from the community is an important part of the planning process.
