Still no sign of three young men missing in Slocan Lake, including one from Gibsons.
4 people drowned when their canoe capsized on the evening of May 10th. Only one was recovered, a 19 year old woman from New Denver.
21 year old Hayden Kyle of Gibsons and 2 others from New Denver remain unaccounted for.
RCMP Sergeant Darryl Little says the wait is tough on the families, who’ve been gathering at the lake shore hoping for news.
The search team brought in new detection gear and and remote control vehicle on Thursday, so they could get to the deeper water in the lake — which goes down as far as 250 metres in spots.
