The Mayor of Gibsons is expecting 2019 to be a busy year.
Bill Beamish said there are lots of things on the agenda for the town and some projects that’ll be coming up this year.
“Our priorities are to do strategic planning. We also know that affordable housing is still a priority in our community. Working with the Regional District looking at the growth strategy and regional issues. We all know that water is a challenge here throughout the coast.”
Beamish said he’s also looking forward to working with regional district directors at the SCRD to try and figure out solutions for garbage disposal, transportation among other things.
