Memorials for the victims of last week’s shooting in Nanaimo are tomorrow… and the family and friends of one of the men are trying to turn the tragedy into an opportunity to help others.
Michael Lunn and Fred McEachern were killed at their workplace — the Western Forest Products mill in Nanaimo.
And stopping workplace violence is what the Red Shirt Foundation is all about.
Longtime friend Lynn Jacques is one of the people behind the Foundation.
