11 Nanaimo RCMP officers are being honoured for helping take more than 470 impaired drivers off the road last year.
The Nanaimo based members, along with 3 from Oceanside, 3 from Port Alberni and 1 from the Duncan/North Cowichan detachement were recognized yesterday in Victoria with membership in Alexa’s Team.
Alexa’s Team was established in memory of Alexa Middelaer, a Lower Mainland girl killed by an impaired driver..
