Policing are investigating an armed robbery that happened north of Ladysmith.
It happened Saturday night just after 10:30 when a “large” man walked into a Pub and Liquor Store located in the 1600-block of Timberlands Road.
Mounties say the suspect came into the store, pulled out a handgun and demanded cash.
He also helped himself to about 60 packages of cigarettes before fleeing the store on foot.
Mounties say the entire incident took only about a minute but are hoping someone saw something that can help with the investigation.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 6 feet 4 inches tall, and around 230 to 240 pounds.
He was wearing a blue zip-up hoody, black ball cap, black balaclava, black jeans, black backpack and was wearing yellow work gloves.
His voice is described as “soft”.
His eyes are possibly blue (or light in colour).
