Despite countless warnings about the dangers of starting a fire, some people don’t seem to get the message.
The Halfmoon Bay Fire Department responded to a fire this past Sunday around 10 in the morning above 5905 Trout Lake Road.
They’re confident it was human-caused and they want to find out who is responsible.
Sunshine Coast RCMPÂ say the fire could have been disastrous, but luckily fire crews arrived on scene and were able to put the brush fire out before it reached the treeline.
