People on the Nanoose Bay Peninsula Water Service Area are on Stage 4 water restrictions.
It’s because of a pump failure at the Craig Bay Pump Station.
Once it’s fixed, the Water Service Area will move to Stage 3 water restrictions to allow the reservoir to fill again.
The City of Parksville moved to Stage 3 water restrictions today (Aug 9).
Stage 3 has the same odd and even watering days as Stage 2 but it asks residents to voluntarily conserve water wherever they can.
