The ferry terminals both in Powell River and the Lower Sunshine Coast will be busier than usual during the next couple of days.
Andreas Hestler, marketing director of the BC Bike Race says hundreds of cyclists from around the world will be travelling through our area for this event.
During tomorrow(July 10th) the ferry going from Powell River to Sechelt at 9:25 am is exclusive to BC Bike Racers and travellers can expect to see heavy traffic for the 11:20 sailing.
And then on Wednesday, if you’re travelling from Langdale you should expect heavy traffic on the 2:05 and 4:20 sailings.
The finish line for the riders is in Squamish.
