It’s been just over a week since there was a fire in the Gibsons Marina.
No one was injured and so far the cause hasn’t been determined.
Loretta Corbeil of Sunshine Kayaking says their business at the marina was hit hard when the boathouse they were renting was burnt and even their kayaks on the water were not spared…..
Corbeil says they have managed to recover and are working from some racks on the dock now.
She says they’ve got around 30 kayaks, singles and doubles for rent, and lots of safety gear on hand.
