A near disaster was avoided at the Langdale terminal this past weekend.
An SUV flipped on its side between some toll booths on Saturday night and BC Ferries spokesperson Deborah Marshall says they were told the car was travelling at a high speed when it was approaching the terminal.
Marshall says there was a ticket agent in the booth at the time, but she was able to escape with no injuries.
The RCMP is investigating the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
