If you’re looking to opt out of Gibsons’ curbside organics pickup program, your deadline to do so has been extended.
Gibsons’ Communications person Elizabeth Quayle says there’s an application you can fill out on their website if you feel you can divert 100 per cent of your organic waste from the landfill.
Deadline to fill out to apply is March 22nd and if you do qualify to opt out, you won’t have to pay the town an extra $70 every year for the curbside organics pickup program.
