The garbage and recycling collection game on the Sunshine Coast is going to see a bit of a change.
Tanya Stewart with Waste Management says they’ve purchased Direct Disposal and they want to make a smooth transition.
She says service expansion for recycling and composting is possible for the future but they want to hear back from the community first.
All of the employees at Direct Disposal have been offered a job by Waste Management and the changes come into effect on December 15th.
