RCMP looking for suspects – updated with photos

Nanaimo RCMP is looking for a man who robbed a north end bank and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery took place at the Scotia Bank, in the 6700 block of the Island Highway, near Costco, around 3:30 pm on Wednesday.
The suspect had entered the bank and produced a note demanding cash.
No weapon was produced.
When the money was turned over he walked out of the bank and into the parking lot.
Officers, along with Police Dog Services are searching for a white man with dark skin, between 20 and 25 years of age, with a handle bar moustache and a soul patch.

The man is 5 foot 8, has a stocky build and was wearing dark sunglasses, a grey toque and a black hoodie with “Carhartt” written on the left sleeve.

Also on Wednesday, a man tried to rob the Tim Horton’s at Dickinson Crossing.

Just after midnight the suspect appeared at the drive through window on foot.

He had a knife and demanded cash from the till.
The employee did not turn over any money and the suspect left on foot.
He is described as a white man, 35-40 years old, heavy set with a moustache and goatee.
He was last seen wearing a grey toque and a black jacket with distinctive white lettering along the left sleeve.
