Strong winds are expected this morning on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.
Environment Canada believes the winds will be gone by late this afternoon.
Power outages are also being reported by BC Hydro for the Island as well as the Coast.
If you see a live downed power line, you should call the police.
