Gibsons council has given the thumbs up to an environmental development permit for the George Hotel.
Director of Planning and Development, Andre Boel says the project has cleared a number of hurdles since is was proposed back in 2013…..
Boel says this permit and two others, a geotechnical and an aquifer development permit, have to be granted yet before the final development permit is granted.
He expects that won’t take long though and by the end of the month the project could be ready to go.
