The province is trying to clear up some confusion around permitted uses on agricultural land.
Some farmers have been hosting activities like commercial weddings, concerts or non-agriculture related festivals.
The province says the activies are permitted, providing that no new, permanent structures are being built, and parking is provided on the farm, not on the road.
The number of guests can’t exceed 150 and there must be less than 10 such events at the farm in a calender year, anything beyond that a permit will be required.
