Constable Harrison Mohr with the Sunshine Coast RCMP says they’ll be out in extra force for the summer season.
Mohr says as the weather improves, more cyclists will be out on the roads and drivers should approach intersections with extra caution.
Even though more officers will be out patrolling the land and waters, they’re always appreciative when a concerned citizen reports a suspicious activity.
Mohr also wants to remind drivers that even though school zones don’t apply for the summer, playground zones continues to be in effect from dusk until dawn.
