A popular phone scam is making its rounds across the country – and Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island residents are at risk.
RCMP Corporal Krista Hobday says the Canada Revenue Agency Scam is very active across the Island and the call may come through as a recorded message or a live person.

RCMP stress that this is not how the Canada Revenue Agency conducts business and it is a scam. At this point your best course of action is to just hang up the telephone.
