Although it will appear now as though the investigation is complete following that massive fire in downtown Nanaimo 8 days ago the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Nanaimo Fire Chief Craig Richardson says investigators have completed the physical portion of the investigation on site and will now shift into the interview and analysis phase……
Richardson figures it will be a couple of weeks before a cause is determined.
The building has now been turned over to the owner.
