For The Love of Gospel Rock Society wants to raise money to buy the Gospel Rock property.
They’re hosting an event Sunday between 1:00-4:00 pm at the Kinsmen Hall in Gibsons.
There will be a variety of displays and music.
Sharon Danroth, president at the society says Gospel Rock is a significant place in the community……
Danroth says her goal is to raise 3 to 4 million dollars to eventually purchase the land.
So far they’ve raised around $15,000.
