Transportation Minister Todd Stone says he’s hoping to see barriers and other safety improvements get underway next year on the stretch of the Malahat where a man was killed in an accident Wednesday.
RCMP say it appears slippery road conditions, and speed, led one of the drivers to lose control and cross into the wrong lane.
Stone says design work is already underway for the work along that area near Malahat Village.
The victim was a 33 year-old from Saanich. His name has not been released
