Kettle Campaign kicks off this weekend

The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is looking for volunteers, ahead of the annual fundraiser’s kick off this weekend.

Inga Hardman is the Kettle Coordinator on the Sunshine Coast. She says they’ll be doing a blitz to sign up kettle volunteers at the launch November 21st at the Sunnycrest and Trail Bay Malls.

Dawne Anderson is the coordinator for the Nanaimo Salvation Army.  She points out that most years it’s the shifts early in the campaign that are often the hardest to fill.

Contact your local Salvation Army branch to find out how to volunteer (604 886-3680, on the Sunshine Coast and 250 753-8834 in Nanaimo)

All the money raised in the locally through the Kettle Campaign goes to the Sally Ann branches for their programs in the community.
