Locals bag Juno nominations

A couple of local musicians are among this year’s Juno nominees.

Nanaimo’s David Gogo is up for Blues Album of the Year for Come on Down, which he says was inspired by a trip.

Qualicum Beach jazz musician Phil Dwyer is nominated in the Traditional Jazz category for Look for the Silver Lining.

The last Sunshine Coast artist nominated for a Juno was Janet Panic, who was in the running last year for Best Aboriginal Album
