A local landscape firm is going to transform an area around one of the Gibsons seashore walk access points, as a community project.
Houston Landscapes does a volunteer project every year, and as relative newcomers to the Sunshine Coast they were especially interested in one for the area.
Houston’s Jeremy Miller says they’re hoping to get started at the beginning of July, and have the project finished in time for Sea Cavalcade weekend.
Miller says the design will relay on local materials, and create a public space that’s a big step up from the gravel access road and blackberry bushes there now.
