And Mayor Wayne Rowe says people will also notice a new, 154 dollar, parcel tax. It’s to cover the cost of upgrades and repairs to the water system follow last summer’s e-coli contamination scare.
Vancouver Coastal Health has reviewed improvements to the water system, and Council also heard yesterday the health authority has given the OK to end chlorination of water from the aquifer later this month.
