Author Tania Millen visits Nanaimo to share pack trip knowledge

After riding more than 3000 kilometers in the wilderness, author Tania Millen is sharing what she has learned along the way.

Millen’s new book is called “Pack em Up, Ride em Out: Classic Horse Pack Trips in British Columbia and Alberta.”

She says she had trouble finding detailed information when she was first venturing out with her horses.

Millen’s includes detailed information about 14 multi-day horse pack trips.

Millen is in Nanaimo today to present a free talk and slideshow about planning a pack trip.

Her presentation begins at 6:30pm at Beban Park.
