Sunshine Coast RCMP say they’re looking at some security video in the hopes of solving a big copper wire theft.
RCMP say it happened early Sunday morning (Mar 8th). Somebody made off with nearly 20 metres of five strand 1/0 gauge wire in a rubber casing from a job site at the Gibsons Landing Harbour Authority.
It would have weighed well over 100 kilograms.
There were also thefts from some boats at the marina around the same time.
