Sechelt’s Mayor is promising to find a strategy to make it easier for Trail Island residents to park on the mainland.
A pair of Islanders has approached council asking for an end to the 48 hour parking restriction along Highway 101 near Selma Park Road. That stretch of Highway is included in the District’s overall parking bylaw.

The Islanders say they rarely need to come to Sechelt more than once in any given two day period… and sometimes go several days without having to come to the mainland, or stuck on the Islands because of bad weather
