Councillors in Sechelt are trying to make good on a promise to help the Sunshine Coast Lawn Bowling Club find a new home.
Several ideas came out of the Public Works, Parks and Environment Committee this week.
The top one is reviewing the lease at the Golf Course to seen if it requires the new operator to provide space for a bowling green
And, Committee chair Darren Inkster says with Ebbtide Park still at the planning stage it’s worth looking at putting a green there.
Another idea is approaching the school board about taking over an unused section of sports field at the Sechelt Elementary site.
