Sunshine Coast RCMP have some advice for people after being called out over the weekend to deal with a dispute between neighbours in Halfmoon Bay.
One of the neighbours has a legal medical marihuana grow op, but the other isn’t happy about it and took to videotaping activity on the property.
Constable Harrison Mohr says RCMP confirmed it was a legal set up, and they’re reminding people not to put themselves at risk of civil or criminal liability in a situation like that.
Mohr says right now there aren’t, however, many options for dealing with concerns about things like health and safety or odours, although RCMP can at least point people to the right authorities.
