RCMP are trying to find out what happened to a 32-year-old Ladysmith man found badly injured on the Malahat Saturday night.
It looks like he was hit by a car while he was hitchhiking along the stretch close to the Malahat Summit.
Shawnigan Lake RCMP say when their officers got there several drivers had stopped on the side of the road to help. But, there ws no sign of the vehicle that hit the man, and nobody had seen the accident happen.
RCMP South Island Traffic Services and Shawnigan Lake RCMP and they’re continuing the search for witnesses.
