Reviews coming at Sechelt and Nanaimo municipal halls

The inner workings of the City of Nanaimo will be undergoing a core review.

City Council approved the move this week, and set aside 200-thousand dollars to pay for it.

Mayor Bill McKay says hoping to have the review focus on programs and services.

McKay says the review should be finished by the fall.

The District of Sechelt is also reviewing how things work at municipal hall. Wednesday night Council approved an independent Organizational and Management review, at a cost of between 37 and 48 thousand dollars
