Concerns about the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Project will be front and center tonight at an event in Nanaimo. The impact of the pipeline, and the risks of increasing tanker traffic off BC’s coast will be up for discussion.
Brian Falconer with the Raincoast Conservation Foundation will be showing the film “Groundswell” and hosting a discussion about keeping BC’s coast oil-free.
Falconer says there are lots of myths out there and it’s important to share the facts with people to promote informed debate.
His presentation starts at 7:00pm at Moksha Yoga at 1881 Dufferin Crescent.
