The air will be filled with the smell of popcorn and anticipation on Saturday night!
The Hub City Cinema Society is hosting their annual Showcase, and many local filmmakers will get to see their work on the big screen for the first time.
Organizer Raymond Knight says it’s a great opportunity for Nanaimo’s film community.
Knight says they’re showing 15 short films this year, including one he directed.
Doors for the Hub City Cinema Showcase at Malaspina Theatre open at 6:00pm and the event starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10.
