A former member of the BC United party is officially joining the Conservative Party of BC.
The party has announced that Chris Moore will represent them for the Powell River – Sunshine Coast riding, with leader John Rustad saying Chris has an outstanding record of service to the community.
“Chris has talked with hundreds of constituents and understands that there are serious concerns in this riding that need to be addressed with clear and definitive actions,” said Rustad.
They say through his experience as a business leader, Moore understands that private and public sector leadership is critical in addressing issues such as housing and affordability.
Along with those crises, healthcare is getting worse by the day, according to Moore.
He adds that he is excited to be joining the party and looks forward to working with Rustad to fix these issues for the community.
