West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country will be voting in a new MP come this October.
Liberal MP Pam Goldsmith-Jones has announced she will not be running for re-election.
Goldsmith-Jones said she wants to spend more time closer to home, particularly with her parents.
She said she’s proud of the Liberal government’s accomplishments and cites
Gibsons supportive housing and the public market and Bowen Island’s arts centre, along with investment in water and wastewater projects in every community in the riding.
Goldsmith-Jones said she will stay on to represent the riding until a new MP is chosen in the next federal election which is slated to take place this October 21st.
