The 32-year-old man, who was fatally shot in Surrey Tuesday was from Sechelt.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Khan Michael Bourne was found lying on the ground in Surrey suffering from a gunshot wound around 3:20 in the afternoon.
He was taken to the hospital, but died of his injuries.
Investigators say Bourne was known to police.
Police say it’s too early to say if the shooting was targeted and they are asking for dashcam or cellphone video that could impact the investigation.
