Sunshine Coast Air and the Sechelt and District Chamber of Commerce are hosting an open house this week.
Theressa Logan said the local float plane operator in Sechelt is planning to add some new services in May and they want to raise awareness.
“YVR to Pender Harbour, Egmont and then some flights to Tofino will be happening along with the regular services, like the daily service to Nanaimo, weekend service to Victoria and then in the summer months we have some great partnerships, for example with the West Coast Wilderness Lodge and we do fly and dines in the summer.”
Logan said the open house goes from 5:30 to 7 Wednesday at 5987 Sechelt Inlet Road.
Guests are invited to meet the pilots and staff, tour the facility and will have a chance to get up close to the float planes.
