The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is underway on the Sunshine Coast.
Volunteers will complete simple tax returns, free of charge, for low-income clients.
Those are individual making up to 35,000 dollars and families making less than 45,000, plus 2,500 for each additional dependant.
The program does not serve clients with employment expenses, self-employment income, rental property income, or capital gains.
The program operates from March 1 st to April 30 th . Two options are available:
