A longtime boxing coach, who recently moved to the City from Prince George has lost over 20 years of boxing memories and memorabilia when his car was broken into sometime overnight Sunday.
RCMP say the car was parked in the parking lot of the Rosedale Manor apartments, located in the 4000 block of Departure Bay Road when thieves broke into it.
They helped themselves to a number of items including a brown leather soft-sided bag, 4 pairs of boxing gloves, a blue BC Boxing Team jacket with “coach” on the lapel and BC Boxing on the back, 4 boxing trophies and 2 championship belts, one of which weighs 25 pounds.
