The Sunshine Coast Regional District is implementing stage 1 of the water restrictions tomorrow, until further notice.
During stage 1, sprinklers, irrigation systems and other watering devices can be used for outdoor watering but rain sensors are required on all irrigation systems to prevent watering in the rain.
If you have an even address, outdoor watering is allowed on Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays from 7:00 until 9 in the morning. As well as from 7:00 to 9:00 at night.
For odd addresses, outdoor watering is allowed Monday, Wednesday and Saturday during the same timeframe.
You can be fined if you don’t follow the regulations.
